Kate Kennedy PT, MSPT
Kate Kennedy is a 2004 Graduate of Husson College, Bangor Maine with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences, and a minor in Psychology. Since that time, she has developed experience and knowledge in Pediatric Physical Therapy diagnoses and interventions in the clinic, home, daycare/school, and hospital settings. She earned an Early Intervention Specialist Certification through a grant program at UCONN’s Pappanikou Center for Developmental Disabilities. Her clinical experience and clinical education include: Torticollis, Plagiocephaly, Idiopathic Toe Walking, Aquatics, Biomechanics of Bracing, Gait and Run Analysis, Autism, American Sign Language, Down Syndrome, Hypo/Hypertonia, Cerebral Palsy, Neurodevelopmental Theory for Baby Handling, Orthopedic Injuries in the Young Athlete, Kinesiotaping, Muscular Dystrophy, Myofascial Release (including Pediatric), Chronologically Controlled Developmental Theory, and motor learning theories. Kate is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Virginia Physical Therapy Association. In her spare time she stays active with her family.
